Wreck Diving: Exploring Sunken History

Wreck diving offers a fascinating blend of history and adventure. Whether it's a warship, a sunken freighter, or a purposely scuttled artificial reef, every wreck tells a story. Over time, these structures become thriving marine habitats, attracting corals, fish, and even large predators like sharks.

Before exploring a wreck, proper training is essential. Many wrecks have tight spaces, silt that can reduce visibility, and sharp edges. If you’re interested in penetrating a wreck, taking a specialized course is highly recommended.

Some of the world’s most famous wrecks include the SS Thistlegorm in Egypt, the USS Oriskany in Florida, and the WWII wrecks of Truk Lagoon. Each dive is a journey through history, offering a glimpse into the past while immersing yourself in the wonders of the sea.
